At the Institute for the Advancement of Psychotherapy's Bay Area Center for ADHD, we work collaboratively with psychiatrists, medical doctors, tutors, school counselors, and others to help create a supportive team to treat ADD/ADHD and help our clients become successful with managing all aspects of life.

We assess and diagnose

over the course of a few sessions, providing tailored treatment recommendations and referrals

develop skills to reduce distraction,
regulate emotions and impulsivity,
and improve organization.

We work closely with psychiatrists and physicians who prescribe medication in conjunction with these treatments.

We also address related challenges such as low self-esteem, substance abuse, shame, depression, anxiety,
and trauma.

Couples/Family Therapy

When working with couples and families dealing with ADD/ADHD, we help develop skills to reduce distractions, regulate emotions and impulsivity, and improve organization.

anxiety, and stress within
the family dynamic.
